What tools should you use in your internet business?
One of the questions I'm most often asked is where to secure the products and services you need to run a successful internet business.
In other words, how do you choose the right host when you're starting out? How about the right business structure? Who is a good copywriter?
Below are links to some of my favorite resources.
There are cheap hosts and expensive hosts, but the best customer service I have ever experienced has come from this little $7 a month web host. I recommend them highly when you're starting out:
Optimizepress – The Easy Way to Create Websites, Squeeze Pages, and More
Designed for WordPress. This is what I personally use for many of my sales pages and my membership site.
If you're looking for an autoresponder only for handling your email list and sending out blog broadcasts like I often do, then the best tool is:
Autoresponder, Shopping Cart, and Affiliate Program
Are you looking for an autoresponder system that integrates into your shopping cart and your affiliate program? If so, then this is the best solution which I've used for years:
CD and DVD Duplication
You can't beat the pricing and speed of Kunaki when it comes to duplication of your CDs and DVDs. They even ship directly to your customers:
What if you also have 3 ring binders or manuals in your packages in addition to CDs and DVDs? Then the solution is to go with a fulfillment company. My choice:
You can find a lot of designers on eLance and the other outsourcing services. What if you need a simple sales page, landing page, or product graphics? Then go with:
Transcription and Editing
I used to think transcribers were all the same, until I experienced great quality compared the normal poor quality transcript you receive everywhere else. Go here:
Programmers and Outsourced Workers
I recently had a software program designed for me. What was most surprising was just how easy it was to work with the programmer. My #1 choice for programming is:
Other Services Not Listed
Another great place to find writers, programmers, and more is over on the Warrior Forum. They have a section dedicated to finding people to help with your work:
Are you looking to do webinars every month for up to 1,000 people each? The best tool I've seen for this is:
Print and Mail
Ever wonder how I send out my monthly print newsletter or postcards? The easiest tool for printing and mailing out to your list are one of these two options (both good choices):
I love PPC. Adwords is one of my favorite ways of driving traffic quickly for testing different sites. But not everyone enjoys Adwords…and it can become time consuming unless you're an expert with it. That's why I recommend Glenn Livingston's company if you want to outsource your PPC to someone else:
You can find copywriters for $100 to $1,000, but I have yet to find a copywriter at those levels which I could honestly recommend. Here is one who is in a little higher price range, but it is top notch and underpriced:
LLC and Corporate Structure
I don't talk a lot about business structure or protecting your business assets because it isn't my expertise. I highly recommend you contact this company to help you get setup:
I do coach one-on-one with clients at times, but my schedule is often quite full. Find out if coaching is currently available OR how you can register for the waiting list here:
Monthly Coaching Newsletter
Because my one-on-one coaching is often full, I do have a monthly print newsletter (often with bonuses) to provide you with the most up-to-date internet marketing information available online:
Over time I will be adding more tools and services to this listing to keep it up to date. I'll let you know as I update it.
