Email has been my ‘secret weapon’ since 1996.
But I had a barrier that held me back during my first few years online.
I was burdened down by a broke mindset.
A ‘broke mindset’ is much worse than being broke. It’s easy to fix the broke condition. All you need is a hungry buying audience, an irresistible offer, and a clear message.
But a broke mindset influences everything you do.
While I was OK selling low-cost products, I stayed away from offering anything of higher value. I was afraid customers wouldn’t spend more than $100 online. This limiting belief put a ceiling on my income for years.
I’ve seen many others who’ve fallen into similar stinkin thinking.
They know email is great for low-cost products, but they’re afraid to sell anything of ‘real value’ through email alone.
Nothing could be further from the truth!
I’ve sold personally sold many offers priced in the thousands with NOTHING other than email and a sales page.
My one-on-one mentoring sells exclusively by email and a sales page.
And I’ve helped multiple clients sell high ticket offers from email alone.
Yes, you can also use videos, webinars, or even phone calls, but they’re not required.
Here are 3 secrets to help you sell higher ticket offers with email.
1: Positioning is king.
Never be desperate or needy.
Higher ticket offers aren’t about piling on the benefits in email.
Instead, it’s more about the end value you deliver…and qualifying your clients.
A higher ticket offer isn’t for everyone.
Who is it for? Who is most likely to get the best results? Who isn’t a good fit for the offer?
Often, talking about who the offer is not for can help you see who fits your ideal client profile.
Disqualifying those who aren’t a good fit for the offer helps you create the right frame.
You’re not looking for anyone who can fog a mirror. You’re looking for clients you can help get results!
2: Case Studies
Share your own stories along with the experiences of your clients.
Talk about the problems they suffered before coming to you.
Good email sequences dig deep into the problems you solve.
They show the problem from a new light.
What else did your clients try to solve the problem?
Why didn’t those solutions work?
What feelings and objections could have kept them from coming to you?
And how did you help them once they finally chose your solution?
3: Dialogue
Ask for the reply.
Ask about the challenges your readers are facing.
Tell them to send questions they may have.
Offer a free report to those who reply to your email.
You can ask for interaction no matter what you’re selling, but higher ticket offers have a bigger return on the time investment.
You’re much more likely to make the sale if you find out their questions and concerns so you can answer them directly. The personal approach is worth it (plus this interaction helps you send even better emails in the future).
