Many clients run paid ads.
These include direct buys on websites, email lists, Google Adwords, Youtube, Bing, Facebook, and others.
But Facebook ads are currently used by more clients than any other source.
Yet, I regularly hear complaints from people who say…
“Facebook advertising doesn’t work. The users aren’t good quality. They’re not buyers.”
Hogwash.
Sure, there are poor quality audiences on Facebook, but there are good ones as well.
And if you use Facebook’s algorithms correctly, they’ll help find your buyers.
But if you just put up a ‘curiosity’ based teaser to get people to opt-in to a list without doing any qualification, yes, you might attract a bunch of freebie seekers.
That’s a result of using poor Facebook ad copy.
If you use poor bait, you catch the wrong fish.
In some businesses we generate leads which we convert into sales.
In others, we go for the sale immediately.
Run a Facebook ad.
Take the visitor to a long-copy sales page or long video sales letter.
Make the sale.
Include bumps and upsells.
Follow-up on buyers to sell other products and services.
There are buyers on Facebook when you know where to look…and you use the right bait.
One of my clients recently scaled up six-figure+ ad campaign using a 10+ minute long video sales letter directly in his Facebook ad.
That’s a long copy sales video in the ad itself on Facebook.
The results surprised me, including how profitable it has been and how many people shared it with their friends.
That just goes to show how important it is to test small…and then roll-out what works.
You can start an ad with a few bucks per day, and potentially expand out to thousands per day and millions of viewers.
But there’s another strategy we commonly use to build authority on Facebook and attract addicted buyers.
