Where Will You Be In 2014?

Woah…hold the presses.

Did I just get my years messed up? Nope. I know what day it is. I know 2013 is a brand new year and you get to write a new story for your business this year.

But I’m asking you an important question today.

Where will you be in 2014?

Decisions you make today…this week…and this month will determine your future course.

These decisions determine where you will be in 2014.

Take a look at your business over the past year with a critical eye.

How did you invest your time weekly?

What was profitable?

What has been a waste of time?

Your time is your most valuable resource. Money can be replaced. Time is forever invested…or it’s wasted.

What was the highest and best use of your time throughout 2012?

How will you invest even more of your time in this during 2013?

Everyone of us has activities that bring in the income. I remember Gary Halbert used to talk about when he would turn off the phone, banish the assistants from the room, and ignore all the emergencies. He zeroed in and worked only on what brought in the money.

He called it “Operation Moneysuck.”

For him, this was coming up with new offers and writing order producing sales copy.

What brings in the dollars in your business?

If it’s writing, how can your organize your day to give you more totally uninterrupted hours to write?

If it’s making joint venture deals, what time of the day is most successful? How can you make sure to schedule this every day at this time?

If all your money comes in from doing webinars, make a list of everyone you can contact to do webinars for their list.

Invest your time in what brings in the money.

Let all the lesser mortals take care of everything else in your business.

Distractions surround us online today. It’s easy to fall for the newest BSO (Bright Shiny Object).

That’s why you need to make a decision NOW about what has worked for you…and where to invest your time.

Get clear on your goals. Focus in on them and go after them with passion.

Otherwise 2014 will come…and you’ll have spent another full year spinning on a hamster wheel to nowhere.

What were the best financial investments you made in 2012?

Was there a form of advertising which worked for you?

Did a training course give you move forward?

What was your best investment in outsourcing? What else can you outsource in your business?

How can use this outsourcing to give you more time to focus on what brings in the money?

Maybe you’re just getting started in your business and you didn’t see any fruit from it yet in 2012.

Make a committment today to spend your time and your money on what brings in the cash.

It’s EASY to distract yourself with minor details. How do my business cards look? Did we get the logo just write?

What you really need to do is make the sale. Get more customers coming in. Serve them better.
