Why One-Size-Fits-All is Stupid

Have you ever noticed that one-size-fits-all usually means one-size-fits-none?

It’s a shortcut for mass production.

Take clothing. That one-size-fits-all garment is going to be ridiculously baggy on some, too tight on most, and maybe look decent on a few.

It gets truly insane when we apply one-size-fits-all to business ideas.

I’ve worked one-on-one with hundreds of clients and helped thousands more with my Club and products.

None of my clients’ businesses look exactly like each other.

Even the price points in their funnels vary based on the market they’re in and the value they can offer each step along the way.

Yet, the majority of internet marketing gurus sell ‘magic beans.

They say, “Just plant these magic beans…and you’ll grow a lifestyle business just like mine.”

If that’s true, then why don’t any of my clients’ businesses match?

I’ve personally tested most of the ‘magic beans’ on the market.

There are definitely systems that work.

I use my 5-step Golden Glove system for persuasion on every website and in every market.

I offer products that show you how to model my emails and my sales copy to produce higher conversions faster.

My Club has a couple of issues still available in the membership area that give over 100 ways to optimize online funnels for additional profits.

But all that said…none of these do all the work for you.

They don’t lay out a one-size-fits-all approach.

They require your involvement.

There are tools that help you create a business and lifestyle you love.

Your business isn’t going to look exactly like anyone else’s when you’re finished.

There will be similarities.

But your Ideal Client, your competition, your products, your skillset, your team, and your personality all influence your overall business.

The franchise model works for local brick-and-mortar businesses, but ‘franchising’ an online business with a worldwide audience means you’re going to be stepping all over each other’s territory. The other franchisees would become the toughest competitors.

And this is good news for you!

Online marketing isn’t for everyone.

Some people prefer to have a job where they’re given clear instructions of exactly what to do each day.

Online business gives you freedom.

But with great freedom also comes responsibility…and a little bit of uncertainty.

Training products, cheat sheets, and online tools can all help you reach your goals faster.

But the best ones give you freedom to be yourself…to become a better version of yourself.

They give you options and show you how to overcome challenges you face along the way.

They won’t try to turn an introvert into an extrovert…or an extrovert into an introvert.

And they won’t try to force the square peg into the round hole.

Each month I share systems my clients and I are using the Monthly Mentor Club.

In the majority of cases, I also share how to optimize the systems based on your own audience, products, and personality.

In addition, I help members customize the systems for their own businesses in the members-only discussion area and on the monthly webinars.

Your perfect Internet lifestyle business won’t look exactly like mine when it’s finished.

Instead, it will be a perfect fit for you and your audience…
