Here’s the reality that most course creators don’t want to acknowledge…

Most people would prefer not to buy and study your course.

They don’t want to put in the time, do all the work, and make a few mistakes along the way.

They’d rather you do it for them.

The problem is most of them can’t afford (or wouldn’t be willing to pay) for you to show up at their house and do it for them.

Of course, there are a few nutjobs who love learning. But most just want to solve the problem or achieve the dream in the quickest and easiest way.

I had a client who served the chiropractic market.

He was a former chiropractor himself. He struggled to grow his practice for years. He then put in the time and effort to learn how to create marketing that attracted his ideal patients. He went from hundreds of thousands in debt to a thriving practice which he eventually sold.

His best-selling course wasn’t about how to grow a thriving practice.

No, it was an ad kit. A chiropractor could take one of his ads, add their contact information to it, and run it as their own. Sure, he also included 6 hours of training about how to grow your practice…but his customers bought because they wanted the done-for-you ads.

And he also offered a high-value monthly service where a partner of his would choose the ad, make the edits for the chiropractor, and run the ads for them.  

They bought the exact ads to use, and then paid monthly for someone else to implement it for them.

This is a concept I’ve helped many clients in B2B industries use to earn considerably more from their offers.

It might be done-for-you ads. Or it could be videos you can use to train your team. Or it could be monthly newsletters you send to your clients. Or it’s a series of posts, emails, video, lead magnets, etc. you can use to attract new clients. It could be a new service packages you can plugin and sell.  

The done-for-you tool could be your core offer, or it could be a bonus you add to make your offer much more enticing.

This is almost required in the B2B space, but it can used in consumer markets as well.

For example, your weight loss product could include recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, etc.

A bodybuilding product shouldn’t just teach how to build a workout. It should give the exact workout plans to follow.

Your web development course could include website templates.

Your stress management course might include an audio meditation you can play in the background.

Your parenting course might include some exercises and games to play with your kids.

Your writing course might include AI prompts you can use for brainstorming or outlines.

What done-for-you component can you include to sell more of your courses for more money?

If you’d like to increase the value of your expertise even more, consider offering some type of mentoring.

It could be as simple as adding in a video review or a bonus consultation with your higher ticket course.

Or you could include some level of online coaching.
