Yes, you can sell higher ticket offers using only email and a long copy sales page.

No videos…webinars…or discovery calls.

The first time I did this was with a $1,997 offer.

Would people be willing to enter their credit card information for something priced at that level without speaking to someone first?

The answer was a resounding YES.

And the sales page didn’t even have a single video on it. It was long copy with just a few images.

This wasn’t a one-time event.

I’ve worked with clients and associates who have sold offers priced at up to $10,000 without webinars, videos, or discovery calls.

That doesn’t mean we don’t ever use those tools. I’ve helped many clients put together funnels with both live and evergreen webinars along with VSLs (video sales letters).

And we have used both free and paid discovery calls, especially when we need to qualify the buyers.

But my one-on-one coaching, which is priced at $600/month to $1,200/month, sells out whenever it’s available without using any type of free ‘discovery’ call.

There are video and audio testimonials from clients on that page, but the program itself is explained only in text.

New clients click the order button, enter their credit card or Paypal info, and join the program.

Free calls are unnecessary because my emails do the sorting and sifting.

My emails are designed to attract my ideal clients while repelling those who shouldn’t work with me.

For example, I’m sure you’ve seen how I make fun of BSO’s (Bright Shiny Objects) and frequently talk about ‘breaking even’ on front-end advertising.

This repels those with a business opportunity mindset who are looking for ‘quick & easy’ money.

But my ideal clients know an online business that can consistently ‘break-even’ on the front-end with high volume paid advertising can make a fortune on the backend.

I have clients who have earned as much as $10 for every $1 invested in paid ads, but I’d never recommend building a business model that requires that.

It’s much wiser to create a business that’s profitable even with ‘bad’ numbers.

There are little qualifiers like this seeded throughout my emails.

If you know what you’re looking for, you could turn this into a game. Can you spot the qualifying phrases in this email?

But the sorting and sifting component is just one piece of the overall email puzzle.

It’s also about little authority teasers you drop into your emails. Can you spot where I’ve dropped little tidbits of authority here?

These are just two elements of my overall HERO system of writing profitable emails.
