I’ve created some information products in a weekend.

Other products took me 6 months or more to create.

The income I earned from each product had ZERO to do with how long it took me to create.

There were products which I put together in just 2 days which had a great ‘launch’ period and then went on to produce thousands of dollars consistently each month in almost totally passive income.

And a couple of the long drawn-out products…which had to be ‘perfect’…earned nowhere near the same amount of income.

The most important factors to the success or failure of a project are targeting a hungry buying audience and putting together an irresistible offer.

One of the biggest mistakes I personally make when developing products is going too wide – trying to cover way too much.

A simple product can quickly become an ever-expanding monster that consumes months.

Instead, focusing on putting together a simple system that’s quick and easy to follow.

#1 – Create a Specialized Tutorial Based Off Someone Else’s Bonus

Look at some of the ‘big’ products in your market, such as a big product launch in the market.

But don’t look at the overall concept. Instead, look at the minor details like specific modules or even one of the bonuses.

People often buy an information product for one or more of the bonuses.

Do any of the bonuses give you an idea for a quick-and-dirty product?

Don’t copy what they provide.

Instead use it as a jumping off point to design something specialized on the topic.

Help people get results with a simple system instead of an all-consuming encyclopedia.

#2 – Case Study

The easiest product in the world to create is to simply tell your story.

What results did you achieve?

What steps did you take to get there?

Map out a path someone else could follow.

And it doesn’t have to be your case study. Perhaps it’s a case study about one of your clients.

Either way, you’re giving people both a story and a system to follow.

#3 – Interview an expert or a series of experts.

I’ve created several products based off interviews with experts.

It’s a great way to get a product done fast. Use Facebook groups, discussion groups, or survey your list to find out the questions people need answered.

Bring those questions to an expert and record the interview. Zoom is the tool clients are using to do a video interview.

In fact, several clients have recently run summits in their market (or they’re preparing for a summit).

With a summit, you get 20+ experts to come on an interview with you…and get many of them to promote it for you as well.

People who join your free list can watch the interviews during a very limited time or they can buy the download of all the interviews plus bonuses you put together (often supplied by the guests).

It’s a great way to grow your list…sell a bunch of packages…and create a product.

These are just 3 of 21 product creation methods I cover in the Internet Lifestyle System.
