I’ve created a lot of offers over the years. Some were base hits. Others were absolute home runs!

But every product was profitable, because I have an email list of those who know, like, and trust me.

As soon as a new offer is ready, queue up a few emails, and click send.

Watch the orders come in…especially on the final day of a deadline.

2: Sell High Ticket Consulting, Coaching, or Events.

As you know, I take a limited number of one-on-one clients. I simply announce any openings once or twice a year to my email waiting list. No ‘discovery’ calls or any other sales gymnastics. Simply an email letting subscribers on the waiting list know there are openings available.

Multiple clients have high ticket offers as well. One analyzed his buyers and found the majority had purchased one or more of his digital offers…and had been on his email list for 6+ months.

Clients are much more likely to pay premium fees after you’ve proven your authority over time.

3: Create Passive Income.

One of my favorite business models is an email list combined with some type of continuity such as a monthly membership, print newsletter, or SAAS (Software as a Service).

A continuity is a little tougher sale than a one-time purchase…and consistent follow-up with your email list allows you to tease about new content you’ve added, share case studies from other members, and use whatever ‘specials’ you have going on to bring members in.

Don’t want to run a continuity program? No problem. Promote someone else’s continuity as an affiliate. Earn passive income through your email endorsement.

4: Set-up Joint Ventures and Referral Deals.

Wait, can’t I do joint ventures even if I don’t have a list? Sure, you can. But you will find many more doors open up to you if you can do a reciprocal promotion.

They promote you. You promote them. Your email list becomes a multiplier. These promotions are some of the fastest ways to grow your list risk-free…while at the same time earning extra income.

5: Reach a Wider Audience with Your Message.

I love email, because it’s one-on-one communication. One of the rules of writing good emails is that you’re NOT writing to “you all”. Instead, you’re writing to the individual. You might even find it easier if you have your ideal client in mind while you’re writing.

But even though it’s one-on-one, you can magnify your reach to thousands of people (or hundreds of thousands depending on your list).

6: Create Deeper Relationships.

Here’s a quick tip. Add a short email early in your welcome sequence where you ask a question…with the goal of getting subscribers to reply to you.

Read those replies because they’re great research. And respond to those emails as well. You don’t have to invest a lot of time here, because just a quick reply that shows you read their message can make a connection in an automated world.

You might even start a dialogue back-and-forth. This is a great opportunity to make the sale if it’s a good fit for the customer or client.

7: Reduce Your Reliance on Social Media.

Publish content. Make connections. Attract clients on social media. And above all, grow your email list.

But you’re simply a guest in someone else’s home on social media. Facebook (and others) can reduce your reach at any time. They frown on promotion. What if your account was canceled (or limited) on your favorite site? What would that do to your business?

If you have a healthy, growing email list that supplies the majority of your income…you’re no longer reliant on a social media site.

8: Live the Internet Freedom Lifestyle.

Your email list is your tribe. They’re your in-crowd. They get to know your stories. They begin to expect the type of content you share. When you publish consistently, they’ll notice if you’re not there.

A client took an extended vacation. He had an assistant run the business while he was gone. He scheduled emails in advance (and republished some of his previous emails as well). He even had special offers run throughout this period.

Money kept coming in as each email went out. There was little or no difference to him being there.

That’s freedom.
