Use short sentences and paragraphs.

And keep them flowing.

There are 3 core elements we focus on in each email.

1: Hook

What’s the angle or the story behind this email?

It could be as simple as answering a question a reader recently sent in.

Or it could be digging deep into a common problem you or a client have suffered.

It could be a story about how you got started, something from your childhood, or something that happened this week.

It could be a quote that fits your message.

There’s something that starts the conversion and gets people reading.

2: Aha Moment

What’s the lesson of the email?

You might have a couple of related tips.

Or you reveal the lesson behind the story.

One of my favorite aha moments is shedding new light on the problem.

People think the problem is X, but the real root cause is Y.

And understanding the root of the problem leads into your unique solution.

3: Transition

The final step is the transition to your offer.

If you start with a problem and shed new light on the problem, then it becomes a natural transition into an offer that solves that problem.

Your own personal story or a client case study can also naturally transition into the offer that helped overcome the problem.

What about an email that focuses on several tips?

Organize it so the last tip naturally transitions into the offer you’re making.

What about an email where you’re answering a question that came in?

The ‘Aha moment’ will be the key to solving that problem.

The transition is about how your offer is the best solution to the problem.

This little 3-step system gives you a basic outline for each email.
