As an online marketer, you can spend a lot of time alone in your room talking to yourself.
I write articles and then read them out loud.
I record audios & videos regularly.
If someone didn’t know what I was doing, they could think I was Gollum talking to my computer for hours every day…”MY PRECIOUS!”
That’s a challenge some online marketers didn’t expect starting out.
It can be lonely in business.
As an entrepreneur you think differently from those around you.
It’s not about going to a ‘job.’ It’s about creating something you own, and profiting from the value you provide to others.
You’re the odd one out.
That’s why it’s so important to connect with a network of other entrepreneurs like you.
And I’m not talking about surrounding yourself with depressed and beaten down business owners singing the woe-is-me-song. There are groups like that, where you would end up worse off than when you went in.
Instead, you need to surround yourself with people who encourage you and challenge you to keep moving forward.
They’re a resource you can bounce your ideas off of.
They’re also willing to tell you if they feel something is a mistake.
That’s why coaches, mentors, and mastermind groups are so important.
Iron sharpens iron.
I love working with my clients. Many of them are high level marketers who are always moving forward. They’re growing. They keep me fired up!
I also meet with a small mastermind group of top ethical marketers for 90 minutes every other Monday.
It’s amazing the ideas that come up in that mastermind. We’ve generated product ideas from scratch, written winning headlines, and fixed non-performing funnels.
There have been times they have solved a problem in just 30 minutes that had been plaguing me for years. That’s the power of outside insights and especially a mastermind connection.
If you’re going it totally alone online, you’re only hurting yourself!
You need feedback from others. And as mentioned already, it can’t just be anyone with a business. It needs to be others who are successful and continuing to grow.
It has to be those who challenge you to higher levels.
That’s one of the reasons Doberman Dan and I are considering holding a small group workshop this year in Orlando.
We want to help you overcome the obstacles holding you back.
If you haven’t already done so, I’d appreciate it if you could fill out our short 4 question survey.
The two of us want to work with you and other winners to reach your goals this year.
Maybe this event isn’t right for you personally. If not, let us know that too and we could help you.
Either way, find a way to connect with others.
Don’t go it alone online.
