I have multiple tricks for boosting a client’s business fast.
Here’s one of the easiest ways to create an immediate ‘cash surge’ in the majority of online businesses which have been around at least a few years.
You can apply this strategy to your own business as well.
And all it takes is asking one simple question.
Here it is…
“What are the most profitable offers you’ve used in the past?”
I told you it was a simple question.
It’s effective because so many businesses have winning promotions they let fall to wayside for whatever reason.
Perhaps they only ran it once because they think every promotion needs to be unique.
Or they ran it and forgot about it.
Or they quit doing it because there was some minor hassle involved which would have been easy to fix.
There’s likely some excuse of why they don’t believe it will work today, but this is low hanging fruit just waiting to be picked.
Your bank account doesn’t give extra points for creativity.
A couple of months ago I sent an email about the Wall Street Journal sales letter that sold over 2 billion dollars.
This huge winning promotion was ‘swiped’ from an ad Bruce Barton wrote back in 1919.
After that email, copywriting living legend Drayton Bird shared with me that Barton modeled his concept from an earlier ad.
I didn’t even know about that one!
So, the 2-billion-dollar Wall Street Journal direct response letter was swiped from a swipe.
Your bank account doesn’t give extra points for originality.
Disney is the king of this.
They’re famous (or infamous) for leveraging old stories.
Even a movie like Lion King, which many see as one of their more original stories, is essentially Bambi in Africa.
It’s Shakespeare’s Hamlet retold with lions.
How many ways can Disney reskin the same story for even more money?
Their current model appears to be making live action remakes of their classic cartoons.
We won’t even get into all the ways they create multiple streams of income from each story at their parks, with their Disney+ service, and with licensing (so much licensing).
When you rerun a previous offer, it could be almost word-for-word.
Same sales copy, emails, videos, and everything else.
Or it could be an upgraded 2.0 version.
Or you could add in a few other twists from other promotions. That’s one of my favorite options.
Take something that’s already worked and test a little twist I’ve used with another client.
That’s one of the easiest ways to tap into additional profits.
