My dad was a good man, but we did NOT get along when I was young.
He only had an 8th grade education and worked for the city for much of his life.
He started at the lowest rung and worked his way up through the system to a pretty good life for his family.
He was all about his children going to college, getting a good job, and working hard up the ladder just like he had done.
When I dropped out from college, he pretty much flipped.
When I bounced from job to job, he wondered what was wrong with me.
Back before I started online, I had a pile of credit cards debts. And there were debt collectors who didn’t have an ethical bone in their bodies. They once contacted my dad to tell him they would send me to jail if I didn’t pay them soon.
Yes, they seriously did that.
He was heartbroken.
As you can imagine, starting an online business was not in his plans for me.
Of course he didn’t think it would amount to anything.
And I’m sure he probably thought the same about me by then.
The day I discovered the Internet was the day things started to change for me.
It didn’t happen overnight, but I could finally see light at the end of the tunnel.
I’ve never been ‘normal.’
Being an employee didn’t agree with me. Jobs kept spitting me back out.
Hopefully you’ve never been as far down as I have.
Maybe you’ve even been able to fit in.
But I’ll bet you have that itch…that there is something better.
You don’t have to fit yourself inside that limited little box you’re stuck in as an employee.
You don’t have to live by other people’s rules…making your superiors rich while they take all the credit for your hard work.
You can choose a different path…a better path.
You can make a difference while making a great living doing it.
Other may not understand when you strike out on a new road like this. How can you leave the safe little box everyone else fits into?
There are people out there right now waiting for the message you have to share with them.
The Internet led to my Freedom.
My dad saw what I had built before he passed away a few years ago.
A couple of his friends mentioned to me at his funeral how he had bragged about my online business to them…and that I did things on the Internet he didn’t even understand.
Little old me…the pizza delivery driver…has made a difference in lives of thousands of people.
The world is waiting to see your story.
