What if you ONLY had 1-hour per day to work on your Internet business?
Would it all come crashing down in a fiery blaze?
Your website falls apart. Email broadcasts stop going out. No new content is published. Products aren’t shipped. Customer support requests go unanswered. Chargebacks occur.
People take out their frustrations with you on social media. Soon, you have a cash crisis as bills go unpaid.
Everything you worked for…perhaps for years or even a decade…goes up in flames.
One of my clients experienced a crisis where he had close to a 6-month period where he could only invest around an hour a day in his business.
Yet, during that period, his business continued to thrive and grow!
Customers received support. Ads kept running. Emails were sent out. Coaching clients were served. New courses were created and launched!
The secrets to his success were the systems and the team he had in place BEFORE this occurred.
He had previously been working 60+ hour weeks.
Even though he was in a ‘passion’ business doing something he loved, carrying all the burdens of a growing business was wearing him out.
I first helped him improve his offers, sales copy, and conversions. That multiplied his income.
He then reinvested a portion of the extra money in expanding his team.
He brought in a customer support agent. He outsourced the management of his paid advertising campaigns. He hired a webmaster to handle his websites, lead generation pages, and other tech work.
He trained coaches to deliver services. A couple of his coaches became so adapt with his systems that they could produce new courses of their own.
All this didn’t happen overnight. It took several years to improve his profits, create the systems, and delegate all this.
By the time he had this crisis, he had the systems and team in place to mostly run the business without him.
What would have happened if he was limited to working one hour a day a few years earlier?
It would have been a mess, because everything in the business relied on him.
If he didn’t do it, it didn’t get done.
‘Following his passion’ and constant hustling would have equaled disaster.
