Tell stories about your life.

Share tips that will help your audience.

Throw in a few rants about things that frustrate you in the industry.

Connect a popular movie or song to your message.

Ask questions to get feedback from your readers.

Keep writing emails.

Practice your persuasion.

Some of your emails will be winners. You can reuse them, add them in as an autoresponder, or expand on them.

Some of your emails may be stinkers. They’ll quickly fade from your memory…and even faster from your audience’s memory.

This pathway is a whole lot easier than trying to put together a complicated funnel from the beginning.

You don’t need half a dozen segmented lists, multiple autoresponder sequences, or a load of your own products starting out.

Master the basics first.

Write emails that connect with your audience.

Add segmentation and other elements later on once you understand your audience…and you better understand your own message.
