You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.” -Dr. Seuss

Your entrepreneur challenge is to spend time with the ones you love.

Who are the loves of your life?

It could be a spouse.  It could be your child.  It could be your parents or your siblings.  Or it could be that friend who has stuck with you through thick and thin.

Have you told them how much they mean to you lately?

Sometimes as entrepreneurs you “follow your passion” but you forget who you’re passionate about.

There is that old saying that no one on their deathbed wishes they spent more time at work.

Hopefully you love what you do…or at least you love parts of it.

But don’t let that be an excuse to ignore the people you love.

Valentine’s Day is a holiday…and event…but what if you challenged yourself to live it every day?

As an entrepreneur, you’re creating value and solving problems for your customers.  You’re making people’s lives better.

But do you take time out EVERY day to say “I love you” to those you care about?

I’m thankful to my wife.  Even after I wasted all that money on failed business opportunities, she still told me she was behind me when I started online.

Even after seeing me fail at everything else, she said I could do this.  And she was right.

What if I didn’t have her in my life to encourage and push me forward?

She is what is important.

Who in your life makes it all worthwhile for you?

One of the clichés you hear online is that it’s not just about the money.

You need money.  It’s a tool.  And you definitely feel it when it’s not there.

But it’s a sad life if that’s all there is.

We live in a day where there is “social” media all around us, but it seems that real connections are few and far between.  You even see couples out together with their eyes on their smart phones instead of each other.

Take the entrepreneur’s challenge.

Every day tell someone you care.  Give them your most valuable asset…your time.

Valentine’s Day is just one day and the holiday is so focused on “gifts.”

Instead think about what you can do EACH DAY to be present and there for those that matter.
