My clients do both paid and ‘free’ advertising.
This includes social media like Facebook, Instagram, Podcasting, Blogging, and so many other methods…plus advertising on Facebook, Google, Bing, Youtube, PPV, etc.
The possibilities are almost endless.
But my personal favorite type of advertising is Youtube.
Google is continually improving their system with changes this month and more to come soon.
Facebook is actually easier to start with since all you need is a landing page, some ad text, and you can choose one of Facebook’s stock images.
But that ease of use is also a negative. It means that Facebook prices have been increasing fast over the past year.
Low barrier to entry means more people are jumping on board all the time.
Obviously, with Youtube you need a video.
The good news is that these can be pretty simple to create.
And you don’t have to do it yourself!
If you know what you’re looking for, you can get high quality videos done on Fiverr for very low cost.
Those videos allow you tap into the second biggest search engine after Google.
Youtube will run your video ad in front of people who are actively searching for information like yours right now.
They’re watching videos about your topic. They see your video, click the call-to-action button available on every video ad, and land on your website already pre-sold on your offer.
You can target broad topics.
Or you can narrow your targeting all the way down to specific video placements that are perfect for your offer.
And of course you can target the keyword phrases your customers are searching for.
In addition, you can even target “Custom Intent Audiences.”
This feature allows you to build an audience of people based on the types of keywords they’re searching on Google itself.
In other words, someone searches for “real estate investing” or similar keywords on Google, and you can target that person with your videos on Youtube.
Google search traffic is high quality, but it’s also expensive.
This gives you a backdoor to reach that same audience through Youtube at a lower cost with a stronger, video-based message.
