#1: An easy way to earn even more money from a profitable email is to simply resend it.
Write a new subject line for your email and send it out to all your non-opens the next day.
Save your email and send it out 6+ months later.
Edit it to make sure it’s evergreen and add it into your autoresponder sequence for all new subscribers.
#2: Here’s quick and easy way to add an upsell.
One of the easiest ways to make extra money is by offering your customer a 2nd purchase immediately after they buy your initial offer.
A good upsell page congradulates a customer for making such a good decision in their first purchase…and then gives them an opportunity to add additional value to that purchase at a discount price.
All they have to do is Click a button to “Add This to Their Order.”
If you already have other related products, you can simply write the transition at the top of how this additional product relates to the first purchase…and use the sales copy you already have written.
By the way, it’s usually a good idea to shorten the copy on the upsell removing some of the intro, stories, and even some of the testimonials to speed up the purchase process.
But what if you don’t have another related product to offer?
Simple. Add some type of personal support. Offer a phone strategy session, 30-days of email coaching, or even an assessment they fill out to help you customize the offer just for them.
If they just purchased a fitness ebook, maybe you offer to create a customized routine based on their goals and where they are currently.
Customization or coaching is an easy way to plug-in an upsell when you don’t have anything else available.
#3: Retarget non-buyers who visit your sales page or your shopping cart with a Trial offer.
Install retargeting codes from ad networks such as Facebook, Google, or any other one you use.
You could also target those who clicked through a link in your email and didn’t purchase.
Bring non-buyers back to a trial offer where they can try out your digital product for just $1 and pay the rest in 7 to 10 days.
Or with a physical product, you could let them just pay shipping to try it out. They pay the rest in 30 days.
It’s a way to recapture orders you missed the first time.
