Instead of selling information, provide help with implementation.

Don’t just skim over that sentence. It could transform your life.

You’re not just collecting a bunch of information together and handing it to customers.

You’re providing a bridge from a problem to a solution.

This could be as simple as putting together a ‘kit’ type product.

For example, several clients in B2B markets have put together ad kits.

Sure, their kit includes some information, but all the customer has to do is select one of the ads, edit it, and run it to attract new clients.

That’s help with implementation.

This works in consumer markets too.

For example, a client in tennis shows the daily drills someone should follow to improve specific aspects of their game. Do this drill today. Then the next one. Track your daily drills with this easy cheat sheet.

That’s the second way to help with implementation.

Integrate some aspect of personal help, coaching, or direct feedback.

For example, another client includes 90-days of email coaching with his offer.

His program is designed to lead his customer step-by-step from the problem to the solution.

Very few of them need any additional help. But they have confidence that if they get stuck at any point in the system, they can contact him by email and get help.

That’s comforting and helps him sell way more of his program than he would without it.

A lot of times people only think of coaching and support as private one-on-one by email, phone, or Zoom.

But there are a lot more methods than this.
