I released my brand-new book last week, “How to Sell Without Selling: Step-By-Step Marketing Formula to Attract Ready-To-Buy Clients…Create Passive Income and Make More Money While Making a Difference.”
I’ve already had a buyer who let me know about a few mistakes in the book. I’m thankful of course for his help, because those will be fixed in the next edition.
I edited it multiple times. It was also professionally edited, but mistakes still slip through.
I don’t know if I’ve ever read a book without a few mistakes (no matter what publishing house it came from).
If you wait till something is absolutely perfect, it never gets out on the market.
But I made a bigger mistake with this book…that would be tough to fix.
I shared way too much.
It’s over 300 pages. It shows you how to pinpoint your Ideal Client, judge the persuasion power of any website, create traffic-generating content in 30 minutes or less, create powerful stories that pull in sales, and create a high-end brand.
And that’s just getting started.
There are even three chapters near the end of the book that show the exact steps to follow for 3 different types of businesses: local businesses, consulting/coaching practices, and a beginner just getting started.
Combine this in with multiple templates I provide in the book…and hopefully you can see the mistake I made.
While there are links to my websites, you can get started using just the information in the book alone!
One of the popular ways to promote business books right now is in a ‘Free with shipping offer.’
Lose money off the book itself, but include multiple upsell offers. Promote a high-end service heavily on the backend.
Giving away too many of the steps and systems in the book is actually a negative from the marketing perspective.
If I wanted to maximize my leads, sales and income…I should have cut at least half the content from the book.
But I had zero desire to go back into the book and cut all that out.
Next time I can create a book that’s better for me from a ‘marketing’ perspective.
This one gives you a ton of step-by-step systems to help you earn more from your online marketing…no matter what type of business you’re in.
And you get it all for just $5 for the Kindle version…or $14.99 for the paperback version.
