One of the biggest problems just about everyone experiences online is overwhelm.

Have you seen all the options people have for getting fit today? There are hundreds of eating plans, workout routines, gym products, and everything else. It’s no wonder that many people jump from one option to another…having trouble sticking with anything.

This overwhelm can distract you in online marketing just like it can everywhere else.

You have so many options for getting your message in front of an audience, following up on them, and monetizing your business.

Success doesn’t come from bouncing from one idea to the next.

It comes from choosing one hungry, buying audience and creating value for them.

It comes from choosing one traffic source where you can become an authority.

Focus on one primary way to build your authority.

Start by promoting one primary front-end product.

What if you focused this entire year on one audience, one traffic source, one method of building your authority, and promoted one front-end product?

Maybe it won’t take all year. Once you get focused, you can probably do it a whole lot faster.

The key is going deep before going wide.

It takes time to really understand an audience. Drill down to a specific niche market until you understand their Desperate Problem even better than they do. Expand your reach by narrowing your audience until you become their premier authority.

Whatever traffic source you choose, it takes time to find the best targeting options, test effective ads, and optimize your funnel.

Once you find something that works, then you can expand out to other sources. But you just divide your attention and never do a good job with a single source of advertising if you try to run in multiple directions at once.

Choose a way to produce infotainment. Personally, I like writing. So that’s my core source.

You might like audio or video. You could produce audios for a podcast and then transcribe pieces of them to create the rough draft of emails. Have images added to create videos.

Create one irresistible offer you can use to draw as many people into the front-end of your buying funnel as possible.

Give your attention here until you have it selling consistently, building a database of customers you can offer additional value to on the backend.
