Time for a pop quiz.
Don’t worry. It’s easy.
Which of these offers is more irresistible?
Offer #1: A step-by-step course that shows you the exact meal plan to follow and all the exercises you need to do lose 30 pounds in the next 3 months.
Offer #2: A pill you take twice daily to you lose 30 pounds in the next 3 months.
I told you it was easy.
The pill will win in a landslide.
Why?
Because it’s effortless.
If you have good positioning, a strong sales message, and proof to back up the promise…you can attract customers with the first offer.
But there will be a ton of objections that keep the majority from buying.
They don’t want to miss out on their favorite foods.
They’ll be hungry.
They’ve failed at multiple diets in the past.
They don’t think they have the willpower.
They don’t have time to cook or exercise.
They don’t have the energy to exercise.
They’ll be sore.
They’ll give up on the routine.
They have all these aches and pains.
In other words, it may have worked for others, but it won’t work for them because of ________.
And it’s too much work!
If you have ways to solve those objections, you can bump up the number of purchases you receive.
But that magic pill is still going to be more popular.
It’s faster and easier.
The big objection will be its effectiveness. Does it work? It sounds too good to be true.
The more proof you share, the better it will do. This includes scientific studies, testimonials, blind studies, the science behind it, etc.
Why use such an extreme example?
It illustrates the point.
The faster, easier, and more effective you can make your solution…the more irresistible it becomes to your audience.
These are universal desires that apply in virtually every market.
Sure, there are some crazies out there like in the musclehead market where they might want to spend more hours in the gym.
But the vast majority of buyers want a faster, easier, and more effective solution.
Ask yourself, “How can I use these 3 motivations to improve my offer?”
It’s one of the reasons there are so many ‘AI Gurus’ right now.
They promise to make everything faster and easier.
Let’s say we wanted to improve weight loss offer #1.
How could we deliver faster results? Perhaps there is a 7-day quick start that helps them melt away the first 3 to 5 pounds.
How could we make the program easier? Maybe you include the exact 5-minute recipes to use…or the meals can be purchased pre-prepared.
Could we make it more effective? Maybe you build in a community along with accountability for their goals…along with personal feedback from a coach.
Whatever you’re offering…ask yourself what you can do to make the solution faster, easier, and more effective?
