Yesterday was Independence Day in the United States.

It’s a day of celebration, cookouts, and fireworks.

But it has a deeper meaning as well.

It marks the day the Declaration of Independence was approved in 1776…announcing the colonies’ separation from Great Britain.

And just like any other major change, it started with a vision.

The founders were upset over the ever-increasing control and taxation imposed on them by the crown.

They couldn’t live with the circumstances as they were.

Things had to change.

They dreamed of a new nation.

They saw a vision of what was possible.

And they took practical steps to make it happen…even though those steps could lead to their deaths.

I ran face first into a wall of frustration 26 years ago.

I couldn’t stand the thought of wasting my life working at one dead-end job after another.

Something had to change.

I heard a few early stories of people succeeding online, and it ignited the idea of freedom for me.

Could little ole me chart a new direction for my life?

I caught a glimpse of an internet lifestyle business filled with freedom, fun, and financial rewards.

And over the past 26 years, I’ve helped thousands of others do the same.

I want to give you a simple exercise that can start you on your journey to a life of freedom.

In fact, this is so simple you’ll be tempted to skip over it.

Instead of running off in search of another ‘internet marketing’ fix, invest a few minutes in this.

Create a vision of where you want to go.

It’s like setting the GPS for your life.

Turn on the GPS in your car, set a destination, and it will help you get there.

You still have to drive the car. And I’m not discounting that. But you can’t move in the right direction until you’ve set a clear destination.

I’m going to give you one question below.

Copy the question somewhere you can write and save your answer: Word, Google Docs, Notepad, etc.

Here’s the question…

What will my ideal life look like in 3 years?

Feel free to use 5 years or 10 years instead if you prefer.

Write your answer. Be as detailed as possible.

What does your business (or job) look like? What do you do daily? How much money are you earning? How do you serve your audience? What does your family life look like? What hobbies do you have? How do you take care of your health and fitness? How have you grown in your spiritual life? What time do you spend with friends?

Woah, did I just add a bunch of additional questions? No. Those are all clarifying questions. The one question you’re supposed to answer is…

What will my ideal life look like in 3 years?

This is NOT the time to be realistic or try to figure out how you will get there.

Write freely. Don’t self-censor yourself.

Create a clear vision.

A plan of how to accomplish it can come later.

For now, you simply want to set your GPS.

The Internet Lifestyle System could be an excellent starting point when you’re ready to turn that vision into a reality.

It will give you my step-by-step system for creating consistent monthly income online through online courses.

It’s NOT just about the money…although the money is great!

It’s about choices…and having the freedom to do what you want to do when you want to do it with the people you care about most.

Today can be the first step into the freedom to make the quality decisions that really matter.
