How Beginners Create Best Selling Products

One of the big misconceptions in the ‘information business’ is that you need to be the premier expert on a topic before you can create a product.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

Right now…you have knowledge that others would pay to access.

You know how to make other people’s lives easier.

You have talents (whether you realize them or not)…experiences (which you may currently be discounting)…and a story (which you may not have identified).

There may be people who know a topic better than you.

And that’s OK.

One of the mistakes the most experienced people make is getting so lost in their knowledge that they no longer identify with the common person.

Jargon blinds them and what they share can go right over the average person’s head.

You don’t need to create an encyclopedia on a topic.

In fact, you don’t want to.

What most customers want is a simple bridge from Point A to Point B.

You have a desperate problem.

You find a solution.

That’s what they want.

They want you to hand them the solution.

The easier it is to follow and the quicker customers can generate results, the better your solution is.

While you might see a lot of $1,995 products in the internet marketing field…that’s not the kind of product you’d develop first…and it is totally off base for most markets anyway.

You could put together a small report and sell it for $10.

Or even better…do an audio for your very first product priced at $14.95.

Test a market.

See how that low cost product sells.

Start generating some sales and building a few testimonials.

We’re not talking about something complicated or something that will take months to create.

This is something you could put together in a weekend.

I’ve created big products and I’ve created small products. Both have sold.

But while it’s tough for me to admit, those little “Base Hit” projects often earn more based on an hour-for-hour comparison.

Sure, the big products earned more overall but they took a LOT more time to put together.

And they would have been tough for a beginner to create in the beginning.

What do you know that you could share with others?

Don’t despise the day of small beginnings.

What if a simple 60-minute audio became the foundation of a million dollar information empire in the future?

Everyone has to start somewhere.

I’d be embarrassed to drag out some of my very first projects.

I’ve learned a lot since then, but those projects and those ugly websites made me money.

They got me out of delivering pizzas for a living.

Don’t put it off.

Make a decision today to move forward.

You can do this.
