In my last email, I talked about how important the right traffic source is for your business.
There are hundreds of options….and there’s always a new flavor of the month.
But the clients who consistently generate the best results are those who stick to just a few methods at most…and they dig deep into them.
You have to choose the right method for you. You don’t just need visitors. You need hungry buyers who are looking for what you have to offer.
Where can you find your Ideal Buyer?
Are they already searching Google for specific easy-to-target keyword phrases? Over time you could create content for these terms and optimize your site for organic listings.
To achieve even faster results, you could set-up a pay-per-click campaign to attract those visitors to your site.
Perhaps they’re watching Youtube videos for information instead.
I have several clients who found their best buyers were already spending time on Youtube.
They put together a Youtube channel which they’ve filled with content rich videos which attract visitors to their website.
They added a Youtube ad campaign to attract subscribers to their channel faster and generate leads while building up their content.
This is a one-two punch many of my clients use. We combine organic content and listings alongside paid campaigns to grow our network.
Maybe you’re focused on a Facebook page and group. Add an advertising campaign to grow your audience faster.
Where can you find your best buyer? It could be on Google or Bing search. It could be on Youtube. It could be through interests on Facebook.
I have a client who spends close to 6 figures a month on traffic from Facebook. This is his best audience, because his buyers aren’t specifically searching for his offer.
Another client has a similar spend on Google/Bing, but his Facebook campaigns were duds. We couldn’t make them profitable, because his best buyers are searching for his product directly. Interrupting them on Facebook only brought them in when they weren’t in a buying mood.
That’s why it’s so important to know your audience.
What are they frustrated with? Do they think about products like yours? Where do they go to get information? Do they search Google, watch Youtube videos, or hang out in Facebook groups?
Your message needs to match their mindset.
Are they ready to buy immediately…or do they need to be warmed up first?
What are you willing to do to reach them?
If you hate making videos, then advertising on Youtube doesn’t make sense. You’ll struggle to create your ads…and you won’t want to combine those ads with additional content on your channel.
Perhaps you love networking on Facebook. You’re growing and interacting with your group. It only makes sense to continue expanding out through Facebook. Focus your attention there both on the organic and the paid side.
Don’t jump on the new flavor of the month just because some internet guru is talking about it now.
Use techniques that get you in front of your best buyers consistently.
That’s what I’ll be talking about in the April issue of the Monthly Mentor Club.
It’s all about “How to Choose, Optimize, and Profit From Traffic.”
The issue will be sent over to the mailing house on March 31st. Get in now to get this print issue sent out to this week.
