As I mentioned in my last email, an Irresistible Offer is one of the biggest secrets to success.

I want to drive that point home.

Quit trying to control people or trick them into buying.

Good salesmanship is NOT about manipulation.

It’s about knowing your audience.

It’s about listening to them.

It’s about understanding their desperate problems and their most intimate desires.

Empathize with them and where they are right now.

Sell them what they already want to buy.

If you’re trying to ‘sell ice to the Eskimos’, you’re doing it wrong!

It’s no wonder why people have such as hatred for sales with that kind of attitude.

You’re not trying to ‘control’ anyone.

Instead, you’re in a dialogue with them and helping them overcome the challenges they’re already frustrated with.

Ethical selling is about offering a better value than the competition.

That doesn’t necessarily mean cheaper price.

Your customers and clients want the problem fixed. They want to reach their end goal. They’re looking for the best solution to make that happen.

By listening to them, you discover those pain points and those desires.

You can put together an Irresistible Offer that turns visitors and subscribers into buyers.

And by delivering on what you promise, you can turn those buyers into multi-buyers and Lifetime customers.

When someone says to me that they can’t sell, what I now personally hear is that they can’t listen.

They refuse to listen to their customers.

They’re trying to sell ‘their own thing’ no matter what customers want to buy.

Good, ethical selling is about serving your customer.

You can help them understand motivations and desires they haven’t even fully realized for themselves yet. You can take the position of a consultant or coach and guide them safely onto the correct path for them.

Not everyone should buy from you. You’re not the best solution for everyone.

But you owe it to those who you can help to do the best job possible. Create an Irresistible Offer. Give them more value than they can find anywhere else.

Truly care about their end results.

And motivate them to move forward. ‘Sell’ them on themselves…what they accomplish and who they can be.
