I’ve been selling infoproducts online since 1996.

It’s an incredible business.

It’s not uncommon to have 10-to-1 margins or better on physical information products like manuals and DVDs.

The margins are even better with digital where it costs pennies to deliver large courses in volume using services like Amazon S3 or Vimeo.

Hungry buyers don’t limit themselves to just one product. They buy multiple on the topic…from you and the competition.

In fact, your toughest competitors can become joint venture partners when you learn how to differentiate yourself.

Best of all, you can deliver amazing value to your customers and transform lives.

Not only by educating them, but also inspiring them and helping them change their internal story.

Infoproducts are a great way to earn more, work less, and enjoy life.

BUT there is a fly in the soup.

Infoproducts are harder to sell than many other products.

Most people don’t want to learn.

They’d prefer to simply have it done for them.

So, you’re asking people to do something a little unnatural.

It takes more explanation about the benefits of your product and building curiosity for the secrets hidden behind the curtain.

That’s why websites selling infoproducts are longer than those selling many other products.

If you sell a shirt, you post a short description about the features and benefits. Add some great photos with models who make the shirt look good. Rely on reviews to do the majority of the selling process.

But that’s because your customers already know what a shirt is. They have a bunch in their closet. Just put it on and you’re a new person…looking good!

With an infoproduct, they’re not sure how it’s going to work.

Learning sounds like such hard work.

They’d rather not. It would be easier to just go buy the shirt they can put on and feel like a success…rather than do what it takes to become a success.

If you’re going to make an incredible living with infoproducts like I have for the past 23 years, you’re going to have to create persuasive copy.

Words turn visitors into buyers.

Words also get buyers to implement and get results. This turns them into lifelong clients.

I’m so thankful that I focused on copywriting when I came online.

I studied everything I could get my hands on by people like Jay Abraham, Gary Halbert, John Carlton, and many others.

It has served me well. Traffic methods have come and gone. Software constantly changes.

But knowing how to use words to persuade is forever….even if you apply the skill using different methods like websites, videos, emails, social media, etc.

Last month I did a webinar called “InfoCopy Shortcuts” for Monthly Mentor Club members only.

It included an analysis of a member’s product idea, research methods for infoproducts, how to find your big story, and create mouth watering bullets.

Plus, you get my 13-step infocopy template for creating sales pages specifically for infoproducts.

The full video recording is available in the Club under the “Video Library” tab.

Enter the member’s area and scroll down to “InfoCopy Shortcuts”.

This is just one of many benefits hidden waiting for you inside the Monthly Mentor Club.
