In my last blog post I talked all about “trial offers” and how they have tripled sales.
The obvious question begs to be answered…
”Why don’t I offer a trial on my Monthly Mentor Club?”
I tested it in the past.
It immediately improved conversions, but I canceled it within a few months.
Why would I willingly give up a load of new customers?
It all comes down to why you’re making this offer and where customers are in your sequence.
My club members primarily come from my own audience.
Subscribers come to my website and join my list.
After you join my list, you regularly receive content from me.
You’ve probably noticed…what I send isn’t what you get from most internet marketing sites.
The “hype” is kept low around here. You’re not going to get promises of millions without much work.
This is about long-term successful businesses online…not get rich quick.
For me, it’s all about building a long-term relationship with you.
The clients who get the most benefit out of the Monthly Mentor Club have often subscribed to my list for 30 days, 60 days, or even longer before they join.
You receive value. You get to know me. Then you join to get the results you’re after.
Running a trial period attracted the wrong members to my Club.
Usually you run a trial offer to pull people in who have been sitting on the fence about ordering.
But the Club trial attracted the totally wrong audience.
It attracted the BSO crowd (Bright Shiny Objects).
Instead of serious entrepreneurs, it brought in a bunch of people just looking for the next “new thing.”
As soon as they saw I didn’t offer any ways for them to go from zero to making $100,000 online by next weekend, they took off looking for the next BSO.
That’s NOT my audience.
My audience are Lifestyle Entrepreneurs.
You can create a better life online, but you know it takes a lot of work to get things moving.
It’s a real business where you’re providing long-term value to your customers, not just an “turn-key” business opportunity.
The average Club member stays for months and even years. They’re not just in and out quickly looking for the next information sugar rush.
That’s why you don’t see a trial period on the Club.
Plus it’s only $29.95 to give it a try. That’s a drop in the bucket compared to the freedom the Internet Lifestyle can give you…if you’re willing to do what it takes.
