It’s Independence Day in the US.
Time for fireworks, parades, cookouts, and other celebrations!
But freedom isn’t free.
It requires sacrifice.
For a country, it might mean a war and lives lost.
As an entrepreneur, it means going against the status quo.
It means learning new skills.
It means taking risks.
How much is your FREEDOM worth?
I’ve been free from a JOB for over 23 years now.
And it has been incredible.
Freedom to earn an income not limited by the hours I put in.
Freedom to help clients I love working with.
Freedom to create projects I enjoy.
At this point, I couldn’t imagine working for someone else.
But that freedom required sacrifices.
I put in long hours when I first got online.
It felt like there was so much to learn! And there are new things every day!
As soon as you solve one problem, it feels like there is another one staring you in the face.
I’ve had to step out of my comfort zone again and again as I developed new skills and grew my business over the years.
If you’ve been online for any length of time, I’m sure you’ve experienced the same.
Change is a constant online.
That means you’re continually learning and adapting.
But the biggest challenge you face online is the battle between your ears.
There will be times where it looks like things aren’t happening as fast as they should.
Maybe you’ve started a new Youtube channel and you’re producing content for it.
Views aren’t coming in as fast as you expected. It’s taking time to build momentum.
You have to be careful you don’t throw in the towel when you’re going to through a normal foundational stage in the business.
Have confidence in your choice and consistently follow a proven system.
Your mind may rage at times. Are you doing enough? Are you doing the right thing? Maybe you should be doing the ‘new’ thing you just heard about on Facebook?
And yes, you will need to test new approaches. I already mentioned how you’re always learning and adapting.
But don’t stop what’s working.
This is why having a mentor is so important.
Not only do they provide direction, but they can also calm your fears.
Is what you’re going through normal?
I’ve had a discussion like that many times with clients over the years.
Sometimes everything is going according to plan…while other times they need to make an adjustment in their approach.
Of course, I’m limited in the number of clients I want to work with directly. This is about FREEDOM after all.
And that’s why I created the Monthly Mentor Club.
It’s way to get access to my best advice and systems that I’m sharing with my private clients.
Plus, you get access to me for questions in the monthly webinars and members-only discussion group.
