What if only 1 out of 10 became a loyal customer?

What would you do?

You’d build a very profitable business.

It’s amazing when you think about it.

It’s in human nature to want everyone to like you. But it’s also literally impossible to accomplish.

You can’t please everyone.

As hard as it is to believe, not everyone likes me.

Not even everyone on my own email list likes me! And some are vocal about it.

The good news is I get way more “thank you” emails than hate mail.

But there are always a few who can’t handle the truth.

That’s OK. Let’s say you earn a $30 profit off your primary product. And 10% of your email list becomes a customer.

You could spend $3 per subscriber and break even. The 2nd product you sell or recommend has now created a profitable business for you. Every product or service after that is pure profit.

If you earn a $100 profit, it’s now $10 per subscriber for break even.

It’s only from 10%.

When you think about this for a while, it gives you freedom.

You’re free to share the truth…even if some people don’t like it.

You’re free to be yourself…even if some people don’t like you.

You’re free to make outrageous offers…even if some competitors want to slap you.

If your website is converting 10% of your visitors into sales, you’re doing an awesome job!

Why are you writing to please everyone who visits? The other 90% don’t matter.

All your attention, all your effort, and all your writing should be targeted to the 10% that pay your bills.

It’s about offering a solution to their problems or a promise that fulfills their deepest desires.

It’s about sharing stories and content that connects with them.

It’s about making a difference with the 10%.
